SESOnline.com is a large commercial web site utilizing Flash, PHP and MySQL databases. After meeting with the client several times to determine their needs, the site was developed over a period of several months. The project included a password-protected login system for their customers to download sales flyers and catalogs. Other features include a rotating Flash banner for the home page. The site was well received and continues to function well.
Thingomobiz.com is a search engine developed on the WordPress platform that bridges the gap between local businesses and consumers. The site is under constant development, with new features coming online every few weeks. In each Thingomobiz community, every business is listed free of charge. Businesses have the opportunity to upgrade their listing to include more information, enhanced search features and online coupons. The WordPress installation was completely customized to provide a focused login system for paid customers to access their business listing, change content and upload images.
This web site is currently under development for the Marianist Retreat Center in Eureka, MO. The site is built on the WordPress CMS with a customized template. The client required a simple way to update their upcoming and past events, so a WordPress site was a natural fit. The site has an animated homepage, which utilizes a jQuery script. Other features include a side bar with upcoming events, a large photo gallery and a contact form.
