As the creative and technical director for several complex web sites, I have a passion for conveying information to potential customers. The purpose of this site is to showcase my work and ideas. I’m particularly proud of my Spotlight projects. Accepting challenges is the foundation of my life and something I do with confidence. I take pride in being direct, spontaneous and open-minded.
My professional background spans several fields, from web development and data management to journalism and photography. Beginning in the newspaper industry, I performed multiple roles in a team environment under extremely tight deadlines and demanding workloads. Building on those skills, I gained several years of industry experience in web design and multimedia development.
I’m currently managing the web sites of several different companies. My daily responsibilities include designing and developing the layout, navigation, e-commerce functions, databases, email campaigns, and social networking features. I have excellent knowledge of HTML, PHP, MySQL and programs such as Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and InDesign. I’ve also designed several printed pieces, written press releases and blog entries, and proofread copy.
